When the skies will tear the Earth’s guts out of her dying body, the time will come for the Tide Goddess to ride on a wave of blood and ice. She will be hungry, looking for anything she could devour so that it can be reborn. But the goddess will search in vain. Only the wave that brought her will fill the abyss of the dead world for a brief moment. All will ebb away then, gone into frozen flats forever rushing through the empty darkness of space.
The painting reproduction used as a feature image and the source of inspiration for this particular scribble is a work of the Czech pop-surrealist artist Jan Kottman who has kindly let me use it here.
